Experience in the region
I was born in Eindhoven, grew up in Geldrop and Son en Breugel and, apart from a brief period in the military and a move away to study, I have always lived in the Eindhoven area. After completing my studies in International Law (specialising in Economics) at Leiden University / University of Amsterdam, I started working in residential real estate in 1988 and worked for leading estate agencies in Rotterdam and Eindhoven. In 1993, I successfully completed the NVM/SOM estate agent training programme. I then worked at FGH Bank N.V. (Aegon subsidiary - real estate financing), AZL Vastgoed Woningen N.V. (mine workers housing pension fund), Van Herk Groep (property investor) and as office director at Meeus/MVGM Bedrijfshuisvesting in Eindhoven.
